Why did you decide to do the 8-Week Hardcore Trainer?
What was that ‘AHA’ moment?

My brother was my biggest inspiration for this Trainer. In the past, I had watched him transform himself with his dedication and hard work. I have always wanted to see my abs. I thought of finally aiming for that goal before my 30th birthday, which was perfect timing with the launch of Kris’ 8-week Hardcore Trainer.


Why did you choose Kris’ 8-Week Hardcore Trainer over other programs?
 

I had been following Kris’ podcast and videos for quite some time and was impressed by his dedication to his company and imparting the right knowledge.


What Kaged Muscle supplements did you take while doing this trainer?

I used PRE-KAGED, IN-KAGED, RE-KAGED, Kasein and Hydra-Charge for this transformation.


Which Kaged Muscle supplements that you used in the program were your favorite and why?

PRE-KAGED was my favorite product. Just clean energy and focus with no crashing, which helped keep me going even on a calorie deficit.


Can you provide us with a 1-day sample of the diet you personally followed?

  • Breakfast: Egg whites and oatmeal

  • Mid-morning: Salmon and quinoa

What is the best piece of advice Kris provided you with during the 8-Week Hardcore Trainer program?

Every video was so motivating how he pushed hard through the good days and pushed even harder and persevered during the bad days. We all have good and bad days when it comes to motivation and energy levels. Watching those daily videos always fueled me up to grind even harder when the going got tough.


What aspects of the trainer challenged you most?

The two-a-day cardio sessions were the most challenging for me in terms of making time for them. But as they say, worked too hard to quit now.


What is your advice for others wanting to do this program?

Follow the diet exactly how it’s laid out! Kris has put his trust in us to listen to him, so put your faith in him and his guidance to achieve your goals.


What are the top three gym music tracks you listened to most during the trainer?

Thé à la Menthe by La Caution; Remember The Name by Fort Minor; and Loose Yourself by Eminem.


What tactics helped you overcome roadblocks in regards to family, social gatherings, diet, workout and career during this trainer?

Accountability! When I started, I told my family about what my goals were and what I was trying to achieve, this helped them know what I wanted and support me as well as hold me accountable when I was not on track. My wife was super-supportive with my diet and keeping me motivated.

As far as roadblocks for workouts were concerned PRE-KAGED took care of all of them and helped get me super focused and pumped for every workout.

The diet, honestly, was hard but drinking all the water with the delicious Hydra-Charge kept me full and took care of any sweet cravings that I had.


Have you done any other Kaged Muscle Trainers, either Kris Gethin’s or other athletes? If so, which ones?

Yes, I have done Kris’ 12-Week Muscle Building Trainer, and I am currently doing IFBB Pro Fouad Abiad's Project Inferno.
